Journal of Travel and Tourism Research (JTTR) is an international, multidisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal established by the Faculty of Tourism at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. JTTR aims to advance knowledge in tourism and related interdisciplinary fields by publishing both empirical and theoretical studies that examine one or more economic, social, cultural, political, organizational, marketing, management, or environmental dimensions of the subject.
The journal also seeks to provide fresh perspectives on tourism activities and contribute to the sector’s sustainable development.
JTTR publishes original research articles, literature reviews, theoretical papers, systematic reviews, research notes, book reviews, review essays, and occasional opinion pieces. Book reviews and opinion pieces are accepted by invitation only.
Ownership & Management
Journal of Travel and Tourism Research (JTTR) is published and managed institutionally by the Faculty of Tourism at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. All administrative and financial responsibilities rest with the faculty; editorial policies, scientific content review, and quality-assurance processes are overseen by an independent editorial board.
The editorial board is headed by the Editor-in-Chief and supported by associate editors and reviewers selected for their scholarly expertise and professional experience. The full names, academic titles, and contact details of all board members are listed on the journal’s website and reviewed annually to ensure accuracy and ongoing consent.
The Faculty of Tourism guarantees JTTR’s full editorial independence: institutional ownership and any external funding sources exert no influence over editorial decisions.
