Project Presentation and Information Meeting
The “Introduction and Information Meeting” of the project titled “Strengthening Families Experiencing Multiple Difficulties: An Example of Co-Production for Family Resilience” was held on December 1, 2023, at Aydın Adnan Menderes University.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Nuri KarasakaloÄŸlu, Dean of the Faculty of Education of Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Prof. YaÅŸar Özbay, faculty member of Hasan Kalyoncu University, Prof. Yalçın Özdemir and Assoc. Prof. Gökhan Aksu, project researchers, faculty members of the Faculty of Education, Efeler Municipality Health Affairs Director Dr. Eralp Atay, Efeler Municipality Economic, Social and Cultural Research Center and Women-Family-Child Psychosocial Support Center employees, psychological counselors, psychologists and social workers working in different institutions and organizations, muhtars, students and people interested in the project.
This project study, structured based on a co-production approach, aims to develop a culture-specific “family resilience model” for families experiencing multiple difficulties due to low economic income. This project study, which examines the micro and macro-level needs of families in Aydın province, aims to empower families with the model it seeks to develop. The project introduction and information meeting, which lasted approximately two hours, started with the opening speeches of Prof. Nuri KarasakaloÄŸlu and continued with the presentation of Prof. YaÅŸar Özbay on the theme of “Family Strengthening in Developing Social Resilience” Following the opening speeches and presentation, Assoc. Prof. Didem AydoÄŸan gave information about the work carried out within the scope of the project since November 1, 2022, the importance of the project, and the work planned until May 1, 2025. The project work is carried out with a co-production approach. In this context, Dr. Eralp Atay, expert sociologist Aynur Çam and psychologist Aslı Ä°layda Kök from the community of practice, and Åžennur Efe from the family community presented keynote speeches on the importance of developing and strengthening family resilience in society.

7-8-9 February Project Team Meeting
Within our project's scope, we worked with our researchers and project advisors from different provinces for three days between February 7-9, 2024.
We believe in the power of working together with actors to improve family resilience. We have held a productive meeting with the participation of our practitioners and volunteers who traveled with us in our family communities on the road we set out with this belief.
